CEPIP was founded to provide the highest quality representation in intellectual property and technology law matters with an efficiency that can only be achieved in an experienced boutique practice. The firm’s founders have many years of experience in both large national firms and smaller specialized intellectual property boutique firms. As a result, we are aware of the impact that traditional law firm leverage and overhead usually has on the cost of legal services. By entrusting work to experienced and efficient lawyers while keeping operating expenses low, we can offer our clients premium legal representation from former big firm lawyers within a highly competitive and creative fee structure.

Fee Arrangements
CEPIP tailors its fee arrangements to fit the needs of the client and the requirements of the case. We represent clients on a traditional hourly fee basis, but are also willing in many instances to take on matters with fees fixed for various phases of the case and achievement of pre-defined milestones. We are also willing to represent clients under hybrid fee arrangements, where we discount our hourly rates but receive incentive compensation for a successful outcome. Finally, where it makes sense, we will represent patent owners in contingent fee patent litigation.*
*Depending on the type of contingent fee arrangement negotiated, the client may be responsible for paying costs and expenses as they are incurred.
